Nicolaus was the yongest of four brothers and sister.
His dad died when he was ten years old.
He was raised by his uncle when his father died.
Education
1503 he got a doctorate in canon law at the univerity of Ferrara.
Nicolaus went to the universities of Padua, Bologna, Krakow, and Ferrara.
He was first introduced to astronomy in School.

He believe that the sun was in the center of the universe.
He also believe that the earth spun on its axis daily.
Also that there were fixed stars on the out side of the solar system.
Copernicus postulated that there was no center of the universe.

Nicoluas was a Roman Catholic.
Nicoluas published a book in 1543 cald On the Revolutions of the Celestial Spheres.
